Educational program:

The school was established in 1880 as a craft school for drawing, modelling and chasing. The specializations were slowly extended for girdlers, metal engravers, decoraters and producers of bronze goods. It became the cultural center of the city and it has educated many famous artists, professionals and designers of the industry of costume jewellery. The imposing collections of art castings and top equipments in its workshops were very important for the educational program. The school survived the year 1945, the crisis in 50s and after 1990 the present-day school started to realize next plans. The new specialization - minted medal and coin was founded after the creation of the Czech Mint in 1993 in Jablonec n.N.
