Production program:

The Glass School of Applied Arts in Železný Brod was established in 1920 as the oldest Czech school of its kind. Wide selection of glass craftsmanships is offered in following departments (Cut glass, Glass engraving, Painting of glass, Hot shaped glass, Glass jewellery, Glass figurines and Production of molds).

Except the Art processing of glass field, school offers studies at its second field called Applied chemistry. Besides the possibility of studies at the Glass technology, other four specializations are proposed. The maximum capacity of each studying field is 120 students (30 per form). Individual studying programs are offered to foreign students for a special charge.

Annual exhibition of works of art made by students takes place in our school during the holidays. A shop, where you can find mainly students' works, is located on the ground floor. The school has got a various experience with exhibiting, cooperations with galleries in the Czech republic and also abroad, participations in displays and fairs and with realizations of glass products retails.
